Full description

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) Recourse & Conduct Adjudications Directorate - Western and Eastern Canada has a requirement for Court Reporter Services. The contract will be for a one-year period from the date of contract award with the option to extended for four additional one-year option periods.

The Contractor must provide verbatim court reporting services in English, French or Bilingual for all hearings to be conducted by the Conduct Adjudications Directorate of the RCMP at various locations across Canada, except for the territory of Nunavut. The work must be performed on an “as and when requested” basis via an authorized Task Authorization (TA), in accordance with the terms and conditions and provisions of the Contract and the Statement of Work. The anticipated start date is August 01, 2026.

Policy on Reciprocal Procurement:
This solicitation of bids is open only to Canadian suppliers.

This is an open tender. However, it will be conditionally set-aside under the Government of Canada’s Procurement Strategy for Indigenous Business (PSIB) if two or more bids have been received by Indigenous businesses who are certified under the Procurement Strategy for Indigenous Business (PSIB) criteria and who may be listed in the Government of Canada’s Indigenous Business Directory (https://www.sac-isc.gc.ca/eng/1100100033057/161079776…).

If your Indigenous business is not yet registered in the Indigenous Business Directory, please do so at the link provided above. If bids from two or more Indigenous businesses are compliant with the terms of the Request for Proposal, the contracting authority will limit the competition to those Indigenous businesses and will not consider bids from any non-Indigenous businesses that may have been submitted.

If the bids from the Indigenous businesses are found to be non-compliant or non-responsive or are withdrawn, such that fewer than two compliant bids from Indigenous businesses remain, bids from all of the non-Indigenous businesses that had submitted bids will then be considered by the contracting authority.

This bid solicitation is to establish one (1) contract with task authorizations (TA) for the delivery of the requirement detailed in the bid solicitation, to the Identified Users across Canada, including areas subject to Comprehensive Land Claims Agreements and excluding Nunavut.
The solicitation contains a security requirement. The Contractor must ensure that all resources performing working under each Task Authorization hold a valid Enhanced Reliability Status Security Clearance issued by RCMP Departmental Security Section.
