Nature of Requirements:
A Contractor is required to provide food services support
personnel, specifically line cooks, short order cooks, kitchen
helpers, cleaners, warehouse support, and a contract coordinator
for the Department of National Defence (DND), Canadian Forces
Base (CFB) 8 Wing located in Trenton, Ontario.
The Work is to be performed during the period of 01 October 2013
to 30 September 2016. The Contractor grants to Canada the
irrevocable option to extend the term of the Contract by up to
TWO additional ONE-year periods under the same conditions.
Optional Site Visit
It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the
Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for a
tour of the work site. The site visit will be held on 28 August
2013, at 1330 hrs, Yukon Galley, 75 Yukon Street, Astra, ON.
Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting
Authority 3 days before the scheduled visit to confirm
attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will
attend. Bidders may be requested to sign an attendance form.
Bidders who do not attend or send a representative will not be
given an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded
from submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid
solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as
an amendment to the bid solicitation.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
