Requirement: The Department of Chemistry & Chemical Engineering
at the Royal Military College of Canada requires a low power
bench top unit with combined Powder X-Ray Diffractometer/X-ray
Fluorescence Spectrometer (XRD/XRF)as per Annex "B" -
Requirement, to be used for comprehensive analysis of materials
for academic and research purposes.
The requirement is for a new instrument or a manufacturer's
demonstration unit. A demonstration unit is defined as an
instrument that has been used by the company for the promotion
or sale of the instrument; and not a unit that has been sold and
used by another organization.
The requirement is subject to the provisions of the Agreement on
Internal Trade (AIT)and the North American Free Trade Agreement
(NAFTA),Canada-Peru/FTA Canada-Colombia/FTA.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
