Description of the Requirement
For the provision of Service Desk Analyst(s) to backfill resources when required for the National Energy Board 444 - 7th Avenue Calgary Alberta.
Statement of Work
The National Energy Board requires contracted services to assist with the operation of its’ Service Desk. Services would be requested on a when and as needed basis in response to:
- current vacancies
- unplanned departures of staff,
- backfill fill during periods of annual leave
- backfill for staff assigned to out-of-town hearings
- backfill for staff assigned to project work
The NEB employees rely on the Service Desk for incident response and resolution, technical support, and a variety of corporate services such as new accounts, equipment set-up, loans, Blackberry support, Audio Visual support, tablet support, etc.
The Service Desk is comprised of a leader and four full-time staff members. Staffing actions are currently underway to hire additional staff. The Service Desk receives approximately 40 calls per day which span the above activities. It also operates a window through which staff request and obtain services.
The proposed period of contract shall be from date of award to March 30, 2014 with an option for one additional year.
