Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) annually
purchases through its various regional offices approximately
$150M of food and beverages for individual Federal Departments
with offices located across Canada.
PWGSC undertook a review to improve the overall performance of
the procurement of this commodity, including value for money
spent, serving clients' operational needs, facilitating
reasonable access to suppliers while efficiently using
governemtn resources to meet those requirements.
Further to solicitation E6TOR-09FOOD/A, attached are the results
of our client and industry consultation. The attached documents
are the proposed final draft which PWGSC intends to have
approved.
These documents are being made available so clients and industry
are aware of the changes made to the original document posted
via solicitation E6TOR-09FOOD/A.
These documents do not impact any current Food and Beverage
requirements currently posted on Buy&Sell. This is not a bid
solicitation and will not result in a contract or standing offer.

procurement.
