Sound Masking System
Health Canada has a requirement for the supply and installation
of Sound Masking Systems to be installed on the 8th, 10th and
11th floor at 180 Queen St W, Toronto, ON, M5V 3L7. All
deliverables including installation must be completed by 28
March 2014. All installation work must be performed on weekends
from Friday 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm and Saturdays and Sundays 7:00
to 6:00 pm.
A complete list of the mandatory technical requirements are
listed in the Request for Proposal at Annxe A, Requirement.
It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the
Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for a
tour of the work site. The site visit will be held on 19
December 2013 at 1:30 pm. at Health Canada, 180 Queen St. W. 9th
floor, Toronto, Ontario. Bidders must communicate with the
Contracting Authority no later than one day before the scheduled
visit to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the
person(s) who will attend. Bidders who do not confirm attendance
and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend as
required will not be allowed access to the site. Bidders will be
requested to sign an attendance form. Bidders who do not attend
or send a representative will not be given an alternative
appointment but they will not be precluded from submitting a
bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation
resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment
to the bid solicitation.
A CAD drawing of the installation site is available upon
request. Interested Bidders should contact the Contracting

request a copy.
