Nature of Requirements:
Amendment 001 is being raised to modify the solicitation closing
date from 2014-01-06 (02:00 PM EST) to 2014-01-20 (02:00 PM EST)
and to answer questions received during the solicitation period.
The requirement summary is amended as follows:
The Department of National Defence (DND) wishes to acquire one
(1) new mobile 4-column lift system with a minimum capacity of
18 000 lb per column, for a minimum total of 72 000 lb, for
tractor-trailers and other heavy vehicles. DND also wishes to
acquire a set of four axle stands. The lift will be used for
maintenance and repair of a range of heavy commercial vehicles
at the Maintenance Department of the Montreal Garrison.
The requirement consists of supply, delivery, on-site assembly
of the system, and on-site training.
All of the specifications are detailed in Annex A - Requirement
of the Request for Proposal (RFP).
