AMENDMENT 001
This amendment is raised to provide questions and answers to
potential bidders as follows:
Question: The wagon must be produced according to AAR standard.
Is AAR certificate required?
Answer: An AAR certificate would not be required by NRC but may
be required for railway movements by CN.
All other terms and conditions remain the same.

The National Research Counsil Canada (NRCC) has a requirement to
purchase three (3) Railway/Anvil Car in accordance with the
Statement of Requirement for Railway/Anvil Car, dated
2013-12-19, to be delivered at NRCC, Uplands, Ottawa, Ontario,
by March 28, 2014.
Debriefings
After contract award, bidders may request a debriefing on the
results of the bid solicitation. Bidders should make the request
to the Contracting Authority within fifteen (15) working days of
receipt of notification that their bid was unsuccessful. The
debriefing may be provided in writing, by telephone or in person.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
