The Project:
Her Majesty as represented by the Department of Foreign Affairs Trade and Development (DFATD) has initiated professional real estate services with the aim of selling four (4) residential properties in the Washington, DC area. Two (2) properties are vacant and ready for immediate sale while the remaining two (2) properties to be marketed as they become vacant. The Department has obtained an appraisal on the two (2) vacant properties.
Scope of Work:
This contract will consist of the following:
Broker services: if and when Treasury Board of Canada approves the project, the Contractor will provide broker services to finalise the transaction for the disposal of the four (4) residential properties.
1.0 Requirement
The Contractor agrees to undertake the provision of professional real estate services for the Government of Canada with the intention of selling four residential properties in the Washington, DC area.
2.0 Experience Required
- Adequate corporate experience consists of a minimum of seven (7) property transactions within the last two (2) years (from the date of this RFP bid closing) for which the Proponent has been the selling agent.
- Adequate experience of proposed personnel consists of seven (7) property sale transactions within the past two (2) years for each proposed resource.
3.0 RFP Documents From GETS:
Proponents shall order from GETS the Request for Proposals documents which includes the Draft Contract.
4.0 Selection Process:
The selection process is a one-stage competitive process wherein Proponents are invited to respond to this RFP and submit information relating to technical and price proposals. The proposals will be evaluated and scored as described within the RFP documents. The price proposal shall consist of a fixed percentage price for each property. Should Her Majesty elect to proceed with a contract, the Proponent with the highest score will be awarded the Contract.
In case of discrepancies between this Notice and the Request For Proposals documents, the Request For Proposals documents shall take precedence.
